Is "Papirus Development Team" incorrect? I can change this of course. I just figured this would be correct since Materia KDE and Papirus icon theme repos are under the "Papirus Development Team".

Thank you for bringing the AUTHORS file to my attention. I honestly did not pay attention to it when I started working on the Monochrome theme in 2018. The repo for the theme was not created as a "proper" fork. I just created a new repo and created theme files based on Materia KDE theme among other. The Git-way of working was very new to me at the time and I actually used this theme as a way to learn Git.
I totally respect and thank you for your hard work on the Materia KDE and Papirus icon theme. They are a great source for inspiration and a great theme to base modified themes off. Credit where credit's due, hence I thought/believed that the credits section in README.md was sufficient.
I will add the AUTHORS file. Is it OK to add a "modified by" line in the file? I did some searching around and seen others do that.
In regards to "CREDITS on Description", if you are referring to product page on store.kde.org/opendesktop.org/pling.com? Then of course I will fix that also.
