This is a Tutorial I've made. I already posted this to the KDE-Doc Mailinglist, but got no reply. I'm sorry if this is the wrong Section for this. if you are interested in porting a WinXP Skin to KDE or skinning KDE, you should read this.
Please note that this is the 1.0 release,
so please provide me with your feedback.
I'll be on vacation now for about 3 weeks, so I can't respond either.
Anyway, have fun with it, and may it help you.

But it covers only Kicker and KMenu stuff. No flaw, just to clarify the misleading description... "this tutorial does *NOT* cover how to handle window decorations" as one might expect.

Well, I don't think one could understand windecos for skins, but rather styles (which is not either). Anyway, you're right. The title is a bit misleading.
