Description:

Displays Stock quotes on your plasma desktop as a candlestick charts. Volume is shown as bars under candlestick chart. There are show relative values of volume.

Stock quotes are downloaded from ichart.finance.yahoo.com. The quotes are based on daily prices so no live data are shown in the chart. Only historical charts till today are shown.

Not all stocks can be shown in charts. For example, there are no historical data for foreign exchange on finance.yahoo.com so no chart is shown for USD-EUR or other exchange pairs.

This plasmoid is ancestor of my "Stock charts - Plasma 4 Extension". Unfortunatelly I have lost password to my old account.

I'm trying to get TSLA up from NASDAQ. Is that exchange supported? All I see is a blank plasmoid when I enter TSLA as the entry.

unfortunately, finance.yahoo is so 80ties, that is has no ethereum or other booming cryptocurrencies…
do you have any ambitions to maybe adapt it to coinmarketcap.com (i.e), to make a "at the edge" plasmoid?
