Description:

This is a very small skin for noatun based on k-joboy but now it's a Super Famicom (Super Nintendo) controller; some things are missing (seek and volume) and may contain bugs.
See snes_pad.txt for more info, sugestion and bug reports are welcome.
UPDATE: added a small volume bar and worked a bit the pad to look better on dark desktops.
To install untar to ~/.kde/share/apps/noatun/kjskins

skin is nice, maybe some signs next to or on buttons on left shall be put; it is not obvious that one color will close and the other minimaze ui. no other objections. good job.

The skin is nice, but what I want to know is, where did you get that nice quasi-anime background?

That's Beldandi from Ah Megami Sama (Oh My Goddess).
Get that, and more on www.animewallpapers.com.
I recommend Lain, Oh my Goddess and Ghost in the Shell :)

I think you mean Belldandy, not Beldandi. At least, every fansite and fanfic I've read spells it that way.

Well, i feel dumb at least.

I can't make it run! does it require artsd or can i make it use oss? What about if it won't even start up? (I'm running it from the command line)

:-(
It looks great, but that's only when it actually runs.

I'm using a debian package for it, anything I should look for?

as far as i know noatun requires artsd. if i remember correctly, its just a frontend to the arts media playing capabilities...

btw, arts isnt a hardware driver interface, so it runs on top of oss, not in place of it...

Ok, this is a quick and dirty explanation (sorry for my english in antecipation).
Open noatun (kde media player under muldimedia menu), go to preferences, plugins, enable kjofon and disable exellent, then click on apply button.
Now a new option will appear on the left side of preferences, it's k-jofol apperenaces (sorry if this is different in english, I'm using pt-br kde) and choose the skin you want.
I'll put this little how-to on the next version. Good luck, and you you need more help, post your questions here, thanks.

I wish to create RealPlayer, Windows media player skins for noatun but I could not find a single theme tutorial either for kjofol or kaiman. I would appreciate if you could direct me to a nice tutorial for creating themes. Thanks!

Well, I don't know about a tutorial for kjofon skins, but I've found a skin (sony-something) on www.customize.org that have a .rc well documented, even without this, the format is very trivial.
But as you asked I searched and found a good one:
http://www.angelfire.com/mo/nequiem/kjofol/intro.html
If that's not enought for you simply search for "kjofon skin tutorial" on www.google.com.
Gook luck!

It's a nice skin.

but, why always the sames themes/skins on the lastest page ?

Altouth this is an update, i think you may create an another tab whith all lastest update within.

priority to all "really new", but snes pad, acqua & acqua graphite are not new at all.

thanks 4 kde-look.org it's the best site 4 linux themes.

(themes.org sux)

I do agree, a updates tab removing updates from new would be way better.
Maybe kde-look should have a phorum to discuss things related to it's way of working?
