You could create simple overlay texts (in Dutch if you prefer) for "special" weather conditions (like storm, windy, icy), that you could add to the general weather condition icons as necessary.
I'll take it into consideration to add something of the sort to the set if I decide to update the icon set for KDE4.

Although, I didn't identify 'hail' - I thought it was mix of rain & snow...

As for the 'hail', if you know of a better symbol for it, let me know.
Hail is 'icy rain' or 'pellet rain'...and I decided to mark it with two raindrops and one snowflake (that isn't entirely accurate, but distinguishes it from sleet, aka 'wet snow', which is depicted with two snowflakes and one raindrop)...but as I said, if you can come up with a better symbol for it, I'd be happy to edit the current one or add an alternative for it.

I tried spheres first, but they weren't distinguishable enough (looked too much like raindrops on smaller sizes), but I created an icon with sort of 'ice cubes' that I put up as 'screenshot3'...so you can download the image and save it as hail.png if you like it.
I'll include the new hail icon in 1.2 version, but I wish to touch up a few icons for that version as well. :)
