Copy all icons (one size only ex.: 48x48) to /usr/local/openoffice.org_1.0/share/icons and replace all files (would you like backup files?).
Now copy the folder NNxNN/apps and NNxNN/minestypes to current icons theme that you use.
Restart the KDE...

GREAT WORK! A suggestion though: the seagulls do clutter the icons, and maybe if you made icons such as the one for writer clearer by having a typewriter in it instead of black lines. just my $.02

Hey! These are great!
And I have a suggestion: why don't you talk to openoffice.org team about their toolbar icons. They sucks! You should make toolbar icons for openoffice.org!
That would be fantastic!

AFAIK they were already thinking about getting new icons for OOo, and maybe even a new (more professional looking) interface :)

the gulls are the official icon of openoffice 1.0, so i'm happy that they're there...

Some new icons sets have icons that are really too cluttered. Icons should be readable, but some look like shots of a movie. THe seagulls here,in this case, are unnecessary and confusing.
