Yes! Absolutely.
Tip-offs:
Ubuntu is a COMMUNITY and not a fortune 500 corp.
The words that begin with COMM such as commune or common often suggest communism. (From Wikipedia: Communism comes from the Latin word communis, which means "shared" or "belong to all".)
Ubuntu is free! Capitalism alway has a price tag.
Whether or not Ubuntu was developed in communist or socialist regimes does not matter. It is a pure form of theoretical communism. (I once knew a Cuban girl who told me, "Ya know, communism is great, in theory." I said, "Yeah, so is democracy and capitalism. Not so great in practice, though...)
I hate to reference the bible, but here goes:
Jesus and his disciples held all of their property in common. Hmmm... Doesn't seem to resemble capitalism much to me. Sorry right-wing conservatives, but there it is...
So communism can be a good thing to benefit mankind then?
Sure looks like it.
Look up the word UBUNTU (Philosophy) on Google or Wikipedia. It will further Clarify the question.
Ubuntu (Zulu/Xhosa pronunciation: [ùɓúntʼú]; English: /ʊˈbʊntuː/ uu-buun-too) or "uMunthu" (Chichewa) is an African ethic or humanist philosophy focusing on people's allegiances and relations with each other. Some believe that ubuntu is a classical African philosophy or worldview[1] whereas others point out that the idea that ubuntu is a philosophy or worldview has developed in written sources in recent years.[2] The word has its origin in the Bantu languages of southern Africa.
I love my UBUNTU with Gnome3. If I didn't play video games, I would never run another Microsoft OS or App.
Aloha, comrades.

I find it funny that everyone is an authority on communism without reading one word of actual theory. one Marx never in fact outlined a government that could be called communism his work mainly pertained to the criticizing of capitalism and what society might look like beyond that.

That being said Stalin was not a communist or a Marxist or anything for that matter other then a tyrannically ruler and the USSR represented what Trotsky called a degenerated workers state and what most other in Trotskyist theory have coined as state capitalism and bureaucratic collectivism.

Please be informed about what you talk about and know that there is more out there then what the propaganda tells you.

why does everyone connect stalin with communism? nobody would ask for pro-slavery icons if the art was about capitalism... nobody would ask about inquisition-torture-pics if the art was about christianity... why do you bother?
just leave the pic as it is!
i like it!
