Hi to all Boot Splash-Screen Fans,
I made a 1024x768 mixture of "Keramik" and "Abstraction for Suse"

Installation (for SuSE 80 and Lilo do the following)

cd /usr/share/splash/
cp PATH_TO_TAR.GZ/suse-keramik-boot.tar.gz .
mv bootsplash-1024x768.jpg backup-1024x768.jpg
mv bootsplash-1024x768.cfg backup-1024x768.cfg
gunzip suse-keramik-boot.tar.gz
tar -xvf suse-keramik-boot.tar
mkinitrd
lilo
reboot

BTW, at ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/stepan/bootsplash you find some bootsplash updates and the sources to some programs that can be used with the bootsplash screen.
There's also a program to create bootsplash themes for SuSE 8.1, UnitedLinux, SLES8 and others.
