Description:

A mockup for Gnome 3.0, only a few ideas, but in my mind are many many more.

I hope you like it and please criticise me. :)

I shouldn't have to say again that what the mockup shows is impossible with GTK or any other toolkit... But let me say again:

You cannot have the window frame and the menu toolbar occupying the same space. This is not possible; what's more, it would be a pain in the neck if it were possible.

Also, the rest of the mockup is rather ugly. Putting dropdown menus in tabs is redundant, there are too many tooltips, no scrollbars... Look, I appreciate the effort you put into this, nysosim, but it isn't going to work.

A part of it is already possible today but all in all it looks pretty much like a Mac. Those lines and GUI elements are typical for Macs.

Not really something for Topaz to be unique, I guess.

I like the "mac style" everybody like the "mac style". Hehe, only fun. But i know what you mean. A Mockup is only a idea. But i hope to see a few features in Gnome 3.0.
