goValknut is a simple script written in bash and zenity for user-friendly installation of Valknut from SVN (as trunk) or from repository (as stable packages .deb).
*Install >> Install necessary packages for the compilation and for the working of Valknut; Download Unstable versions of Valknut (one written in qt3 and one in qt4), dclib and dclib-plugin from SVN; Compile and Install the files downloaded.
*Update >> Update packages from SVN at latest revision.
*Uninstall >> Remove both files downloaded and files installed.
*Stable for Ubuntu >> Download and Install debian "stable" packages from my Repository.
*Uninstall Stable >> Delete installed packages through apt-get.
It is possible that once you have launched the program, appears an error message requiring the reinsert of the data folder to load icons.
To correct this problem: Settings>> GUI General>> Data Folder .. and insert in the box the directory /share/valknut inherent the version used (eg. for qt4 SVN the path is /usr/share/valknut-svn/qt4/share/valknut).
This problem occurs, usually, if you started different versions of Valknut (eg. qt4 and after qt3), and then I recommend and to remove older versions and to use only one of two versions (eg. qt4).
In the script are present both versions, not because they have different characteristics of work, rather because the version written in QT4 is of more recent construction and has some bugs than his sister in QT3. Pending further developments..
