I love this theme but it crashes my system everytime I run it. I have no idea why. I run Kubuntu with KDE 3.5.5
Any ideas cause I really liked it.

looks good and all but had to edit some things...i definately like the XMMS control part with the lil green bar sweeeeeeet!

just a side note that might be nice...
for your scriptz why dont ya just instead of putting /mnt/my_filez thing do like a ../../scrpitz/cpu.pl etc....that way when you unzip the stuff that stuff should work off the bat

nice stuff though like how its simple yet to the point

I really like this script except that I had to change a few things and it's saying I'm using slackware 9.1.0 when I'm really using Gentoo. It also stats that I'm using an Athlon when I'm really using a Pentium 4.

Hi,

The theme is very cool, but i have a little problem: My screen resolution is 1400x1050, just as my background image. It seems that the theme accepts 1024x786 resolutions only, because each transparent theme file doesn't show the background correctly. I want to position the theme at the upper right corner (1200,0) I've edited the image line in each theme file correctly. The whole theme goes beyond one time of the background in depth. What's wrong?!

this worked fo rme right off the bat, but i can't seem to make the background trans like you have it in the screen shot. is there something i need to modify, or do i need to change the background pic all together?

thanks!

Open each theme file (right click on the desklet, edit -> theme) and put a # before the image tag. It'll say background in it somewhere. Save the theme file, close it, and then right click and RELOAD THEME. Voila, transparent.

I'm having the same problem. Even after commenting out the image lines, the background is black on everything.

This has nice Eye Candy but it uses way too much CPU. It's doing 20% on my XP 2400+. Take a look at your scripts and see if you can find the process hog

Is there any way to use this theme to monitor the status of machine from LAN network that also runs linux??? This feature would be great for cluster machines.

Smoothy theme. I would think of this as 'Smoothy Extreme' or 'Supa Smoothy'.
=c)

You use absolute file locations in multiple places to locate your additional scripts. Not everyone stores their files in the same locations as you do. Variable names would work better.

Also, the 'Total eth traffic' box appears to have some sort of small memory leak. It takes about about 10-15% of my processor cycles alone (2600+)

And traffic has 2 'f''s

Overall, very nice.
