I unfortunately install the files as root, I can see the them when i login as root but not when I am a regular user. How do I uninstall the files?

I tried running it as a regular user (install script) but it says already installed.

Thanks

Extremely well done theme. Can you add transparent menus, truly transparent windows and shadow effects to tooltips?

Thanks.

Could you please add an option for transparent menus. Like the file menu in Konqueror and the Kicker menu, but not the Kicker its self. So far, this is the best theme that I have seen out of any OS.

Yes this theme and style is georgus. I am new to linux and recently installed MDK9, using Acqua with Crystal icons definately gives the sexyest OS ive seen. SB¬) nice one!

Does anyone know how to get a kde style to apply to non kde apps. Specifically I want to get the liquid/aqua button styles and scroll bar styles to apply to applications like limewire and openoffice

I'm getting the same problem with the command line installation: -

cp: cannot stat `pixmaps': No such file or directory
cp: cannot stat `themes': No such file or directory
cp: cannot stat `wallpapers': No such file or directory
cp: cannot stat `icewm-themes': No such file or directory

Any suggestions? I"m sure it's just a simple problem with the install scripts on some distibutions.

Any help would be appreciated.

Great theme, love it to bits. Not sure why when I apply the style, everything is fine except I get a very dark Kicker menu. This changes to a lighter colour when the mouse moves over it? Stange effect. Love your new website also ;-)

You need to add this line:

Pixmap=acqua/menuitemdown.png

To the [MenuItem] section of

$HOME/.kde/share/apps/kstyle/themes/acqua.themerc

I'm having the same problem with the the kicker menu and menus in general. They are all usually dark grey, sometimes light grey, and change colors (blue) when you hover. Is there a fix for this?

I'm going crazy. I had this installed at one point, but can't remember how I did it.
I'm running Mandrake 8.2 and KDE3.
When I run the scripts I receive an error kinstalltheme: command not found
Do I need to install something?
Any help is really appreciated.

It is in /opt/kde3/bin/kinstalltheme for my system (Mandrake 8.2, KDE3).
You can find its location in your system from "Find Files" in main menu or by typing following command in a terminal:
find / -name kinstalltheme

Does it matter if I have Redhat linux or Mandrake Linux. Will this theme work on both?

Making the Window decorations slightly rounded in the corners, I think that would look nice

I don't see the difference between this and the one for KDE 2.x. I can't wait until we can see a theme for KDE 3 that is of the quality of Mosfet Liquid, but is identical to Aqua.

This theme was great for KDE 2.2, but I am sticking to Liquid until I can see a real contender.

KDE_FOUND=`find $HOME -name ".kde*" -type d`
this is bad, it can take a long time in a big user directory.
ask the correct path, or make it "cli aware".
