Various KDE 1.-4. Improvements

Here are some mousegestures for KHotkeys.
(KHotkeys is included in KDE >= 4.3 by default)
It supports:
- Chromium
- Chrome
- Opera
- Firefox
- Arora
- Rekonq
- Konqueror
- Dolphin
- Kontact
(requires KDE >= 4.3)
Installation:
Just go to Systemsettings -> InputActions and import "browsergestures.khotkeys".
Make sure gestures are enabled. The default mousebutton is set to "2" (mouse wheel). I prefer "3" (right button). You can change these settings at "settings".

I'd like to ask if would be possible to support qupzilla too as it is a qt browser too.
Thanks again for this feature.

Thanks a lot for this item, it's amazing :D
I use Kde 4.4.3 with Mandriva 2010.1, and the home function doesn't work.
So I don't know if the issue comes from my laptop or not.

It seems that your program uses other shortcuts for "home". To make it work for you, you could adjust the right shortcut to the gesture which is responsible for "home". Just check out the settings in KHotkeys.

I've changed «Alt+Pos1» by «Alt+Début», French version ;)
Thanks

I'm sorry, but I can't find the "dublicate tab"-feature in the applications for which I made these gestures. :(

Maybe you can adjust the settings. Go to systemsettings -> input settings click on "Browsers" and go to conditions. There you can adjust the name of the programs in which the gestures shall be present. You can make use of the "autodetect"-button or type in the name of the program manually.

Is there something I can do to make it work?

The gestures work for me with Chromium 5.0.307.11 (39572) and Chrome 5.0.342.7 beta.
Are you sure to have enabled the gestures properly?

I just saw, that you used a slightly different version of Chromium.
I'll wait until this version is in AUR (from Arch Linux) and test it then.

with this said i don't know if any other work or development is done on khotkeys but easystroke is updated and brings more features
long story short give easystroke a try so you can compare features of these two ;)

*some of the hotkeys are custom (like kwin min/max) so you need to change them in your settings

But why is this way easier? With KHotkeys you don't have to install anything at all :)

it just isn´t limited to the browsers, so if someone wants to have gestures for other apps or desktop actions, too, it is easier, cause no thinking about solutions is necessary
