Hi!
I know that there is thousend's of people
who want't to use ventrilo on linux.
And they don't want to use Linux because there is no client for Linux.
So if there is any people who would like to develop ventrilo client for linux please e-mail me at mensur@silvereye.se.
Please make your opinion on what you think about this design for ventrilo.
Thanx

I don't support it cause of the Export Control Laws of ventrilo.
Teamspeak is better and the version 3 is in development.

I'm serious ... I mean, I'd really like to know why.
How does Ventrilo do better than any of those?

I mean... MSN isn't any better than Jabber, ICQ, Yahoo.. but people use it nevertheless, and it definately is a great thing to have MSN clients on Linux (even though I myself exclusively use Jabber for IM ;-))
Teamspeak has been around for quite some time though, and from my experience, *that*'s what gamers use. And it works on Linux.

It is a voip utility for mostly gamers that is activated by either a keyboard shortcut to talk into your mic or just by detecting audio over a certain level it will activate you mic.
There is a notice that says that linux client is "In development", but has been in that state over the last 2 years.
