I am interested in hearing what you fellow Konq users think about this feature:
I am very happy with the function and speed of the search field in Kmail. It works very well for me. You type in a keyword and emails are filtered according to it, providing quick access and powerful instant and temporary "grouping" of emails.
But I am not very happy with the "Find file..." function of Konq, the killer app most of my desktop usage relies on. You have to open the search window, use * and ? and so on to specify the filenames. It does not feel efficient. So I wonder, do you think it would be possible/favourable to import the Kmail search field design to Konq and have a small search field much like the Google-field? With small buttons to make the file-system search recursive or system-wide. I know I would love that.
What do you think?

PS. I can not find any special KDE-related forum/mailing-list set up for feature requests. I can think of no better site than this for that. Maybe there should be a Kwishlist section here on kde-apps? DS
