Description:

Use spotify.sh script as launcher either using menu editor or custom luncher or rather just make it as executable and it shouldn't crash hopefully. It's deb installer files only.I tried it on rpm distro's too.You can use

sudo alien -r (package name).deb

If it screams about missing dependencies install it.If it's another version than use installed one.

it's libcrypto.so and libssl.so I guess try fixing with following.

sudo ln -s (Missing version) (installed version)

Add in comments if you encounter any problems.

General crashes can be solved using force deleting ./config spotify and ./cache files.Even after using script you can't run spotify.Try this.

sudo rm ~/.cache/spotify
sudo rm ~/.config/spotify
