Description:

Menoku is an innovative new menu system that displays icons laid out like a Sudoku board. You have nine groups of nine icons, each of which can either launch an application or load a new menu of up to 81 icons. Because of Menoku's unique layout, any icon on the screen can be selected with at most two keypresses on your numberpad, expressing the position of the program you want to launch. You can memorize these key sequences, or hunt through a large full-color icons to find the program you want.

Some minor bugfixes have been made.

Fixed the following:
- If you dragged a cell to another location then chose swap from the popup menu, you'd get a segfault
- In some cases, changes in the number of icons would go unnoticed after drops (causing things like hiding empty cells and zooming single items to misbehave)

Integrate it with klick in a way such that your menoku shows with grey colour those apps available through klik that are not installed and, if press the greyed icon, klick-install & run it. It would also be nice if you added some "convolution" with KOrganizer, in a way such that you could "index" each application with several words, like "cad", "map", "report", "phone call" (something similar to the tags in aptitude), and then, in the case that you had on korganizer some task at the present time which description contains one of that words, build a menu group, "present task", which contain the applications related to the task.

I don't think you have very good understanding of what this program does or is meant for... send me an email if you want to talk about this ;)

I like it. Put that into a middle click mouse menu and you always have your favorte apps just one click away. I like it more than a simple menu because in the mouse menus you cannot group the apps.
