I could install it successfully on Hardy.
However, after few days, an update from ubuntu come (2.12.9-4ubuntu3).
The problem is that yours is 2.12.9-3ubuntu5 and gdebi doesn't allow me to re install it. How can I do?
Thanks

So it would be posible make themes for the panel independent of the panel size.
It would be nice.

Have you tried to contact the Gnome people thinking of an official commit?
Whatsoever, an official SVN (alike) repository would help this virus to reach most official distros!
Once again... thank you \m/

If you haven't already (I couldn't see that anyone had...) open a bug in bugzilla (bugzilla.gnome.org) and attach the patch :)

Is there an easier way to do it?
--> No, just install each package and xxxxx-dev packages as asked. Welcome to linux funny compliers world !
I suggest you to also install "colorgcc" and "colormake"
Use is the same as gcc/g++ and make, but it will output colored text. Use "colormake" and "colormake install", try this ^^
You need the gtk2 development packages installed as well probably names like glib2-devel, atk-devel, pango-devel, and gtk2-devel or whatever they're called on ubuntu.
--> Yep. I don't know all the names... they are usually named by the suffix "-dev" on Debian/Ubuntu.

BTW I downloaded the .deb file for Gutsy and I got an error the time I tried to install it. The error is "Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libc6". I wonder why cause I have this "libc6" already installed in my machine and there should be no problem.
