It's very nice! Thx! Most themes use the same color for;
bg[SELECTED]
base[SELECTED]
for two reasons. First, it allows the menuitem to match the base selected color. Second, all metacity themes will use the same selected color.

and you may consider to re-pack the theme, keeping the original folder hierarchy...
