Try out Lightwave. Very good modeler and fast rendering engine. Quality of rendered images is better than 3dsmax. And this interface ... perfect.

C4D. I have used Max, but i think
is not very intuitive, cinema is much more
immediate when you try to do somethink.
Internl rendering engine, but i wanna try maxwell render before or later.
