Nice shot.

Currently the image is very sharp and exact. If you want to make it look more like an old photograph, have a look at this short guide: http://gimpguru.org/Tutorials/FilmGrain

the car would mess up the illusion. b&w is good for capturing shadows and differences in lightness mostly, and in that sense this picture truly excels.
