Did the scientist prove that the earth hangs on nothing? If so, I guess they just prove that the bible was correct.

That's much better than the last one... I like the color scheme much better (even though the message is the important part :) Please keep up the good work and keep them coming! I'm not sure if you know of www.digitalblasphemy.com but they have some very nice images there that you might want to use to get some ideas.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I've been to that site, but it's been a while. I'll have to give it another look.

I like the look. It does resemble the one I made, but it is indeed an excellent start. You are heading in the right direction. White text would work well here. Try a green theme, or a orange theme or something. Try something different and your skills will grow.

that's true. As a matter of fact, I was modeling it after what you did, figuring out how you did it. I had originally thought of using an Earth photo but changed my mind. Maybe at some future time.

There ya go, that's much better :) This is much more stylish, the colours don't clash and the text itself actually seems to fit the graphic as well. This is what I was talking about before. I have voted good on this one because the quality of it is pleasant. I would probably say that the KDE logo looks out of place, but there's of course a lot of people who seem determined that they wish to show on their wallpaper that they run KDE, as if the desktop itself doesn't show it already ;)

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback, although I still do like the other. A given piece of art work isn't something that will please everyone universally -- depends on your mood, etc. I DID get complements on it via email. The most important part to me is the truth of the message.

I'm beginning work on the next one, which will deal with Isaiah's statement of the earth as a globe. HOWEVER, I don't want to get stuck in a "blue gradient with a blue ball" syndrome.
