Icons set is faenza-cupertino,and weather widget is conky with conky-forecast.

downloaded it and tried to untar it, but fileroller complained:

gzip: stdin: not in gzip format
tar: Child returned status 1
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now

what's up with that?

I have no problem to extract it.I have no clue what is your problem,maybe try to reinstall tar and gzip programs.

hm, weird with "tar -xf" it worked, have no clue why file-roller didn't like the archive...

i like your theme, the only disadvantage imo is that without left, right or bottom borders resizing is a bit of a pain...
