NewSlickness Brushed is a brushed metal theme with dark highlights for GTK2.x and Metacity. NewSlickness Brushed is a heavily modified version of SlicknesS by TheRob.

Very nice theme. I'm using it. What engine you're using? Firefox/Iceweasel and Thunderbird/Icedove looks very different with white letters on the menu. All other programms have black letters. Can you inform us how to fix this?

This theme uses the pixmap engine. Yeah, Firefox and Thunderbird don't respect GTK themes, that's why I stopped using those apps. Hopefully Mozilla will implement things into their apps that respect the users' themes and we won't have to go out of our way to make our desktops look nice.

Funny to see ppl still use my work
to smth great :) I remember I posted
the slickness theme back in like....
....2007 or so :D

Anyways, gtk has gotten some new
and nice themeing features since then.

Very good work here mate, This follows
the grey color scheme with delicious
black highlights that I love so
much :)
