Thank you for waiting. ..Unfortunately I can't test it in Ubuntu.
I can't login to "Ubuntu default" after upgrading to 17.04. .. I can only login if I choose Gnome.
There's still a lot of works to be done here. ..problem is, I am not very familiar with the Gnome environment.
Please test it in Ubuntu default and give me feedbacks/suggestions so I can fix the problems.

The theme was working fine when i first installed it, but after a restart, the transparency is not working anymore.
I did notice that typing sudo nautilus in terminal makes the transparency to work, but its stops after i close it.

I was eager to download and install your "2nd Update" here, but, unfortunately, there seems to be a problem with the file. I am unable to extract it.
I get this error: An error occurred while extracting files.
Command Line Output: tar: AmbianceDSBlueSB12/gtk-3.20/assets: Cannot open: File exists
tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors
I re-downloaded it and tried extracting it to different folders but I still get these errors. Could you please check to make sure the AmbianceDSBlueSB12.tar.gz file is good? I am eager to get it working.
Thanks for your hard work and sharing your great theme!

I recently installed Mint 18.2 (I am not aware of the exact GTK version for my install, but I know it's 3+), and only a VERY select few dark themes actually worked, out of the many dozens I tried to install (this doesn't include the all of the ones that have no download files to begin with). The ones that did install aren't nearly dark enough.
Finally, my point. Your theme can be downloaded. It works, and it's black as night (without annoying, and painful white bits). Thus making it perfect for my needs! Thank you!
I honestly had almost given up hope, and thought I was going to have to take the time to create my own theme just to make my icon set. I really can't thank you enough :)
One super tiny issue, the navigation buttons in my file manager (I believe it's caja) have dark grey borders, and it would be really slick if there was no border :) This doesn't affect my icon theme, it's just an OCD thing for me lol
Once again, many thanks!!

I'll buy you a beer (or a coffee, or whatever you like - well... don't ask for a Ferrari, please...), and two and even three, if you update your theme to 3.22. I can see the demand is high.... and I am not the only one. I started using your first "broken" theme back in 2012, I believe, and I have been forced to switch to other themes I was upgrading my distro... but been also watching for updates from your theme.... I recently upgraded to Debian 9... and had to change theme once again.... Please, please, please...
Greetings

Thank you for patronizing my work. ..
At the moment, I really don't have spare time to figure out how to make this theme compatible to latest GTK3 releases.
Any help is greatly appreciated. .. : )

I'd like to know if you're still updating the greatest theme ever made?
It seems incompatible with recent updates of GTK3.
The more and more GTK3 keeps updating, the less this theme is compatible :(
For now, I'm using GTK3 3.22.10-1.
Please tell us here if you're still alive, by replying to my request?
Then I'll come back with some examples of errors I see in (almost all) applications.
One or two examples for now:
Gtk-WARNING **: Theme parsing error: gtk-widgets.css:1841:32: The :focused pseudo-class is deprecated. Use :focus instead.
Gtk-WARNING **: Theme parsing error: gtk-widgets.css:2222:15: The 'icon-shadow' property has been renamed to '-gtk-icon-shadow'
Thanks :)

Unfortunatelly I haven't had contact with gtk theming, I'd fix these myself if I knew how. Is there a git repo where I could contribute ?
So, these would be the issues that I've discovered :
- no window borders
Because of this, apps can't be resized by dragging the window border. I fixed the adding the following code to gtk.css but there's still no visible border. This is the most serious inconvenient since all other elements (window buttons, scrollbars, text, ...) have they're margins at the window's margin. It looks like something's missing.
Also it makes it difficult to distinguish the active window when 2 windows (with transparent background) overlap.
.window-frame {
box-shadow: none;
margin: 3;
}
- the window buttons look nothing alike in whats in the preview image. They're squared (still, they look beautiful).
- the menus in gtk3 apps are not transparent. Gnome-shell menus are transparent.
- there is no visual indication for mouseover events in vertical lists (like nautilus's Places) and tabs
- tooltips (light blue font on transparent background) are barely visible if they're hovering above white text
Thanks a lot for this awesome theme :)

I've been dallying in Linux for the past 15 years or so. I've tried many different distros and themes. The theme I like best is this one and is the one I'm currently using. I would like to install the icon theme shown above but I can't find it. I've gone through all the comments here and the only reference to the icon theme is yours saying that it is the malys-uniblue-icons them. However, that is not the icon them in the screenshot above. It is the theme you've used in your other Ambiance themes but not this one. I've searched through many icon themes here on gnome-look.org but can't find it. I would really appreciate it if you could tell me which one it is and where I can download it. Then I would have the perfect Linux desktop theme!
By the way, I'm using this on Linux Mint 18 and it looks great!
Thanks for sharing your great work!
