Nice, I appreciate it a lot.. Sincerely I prefer dA, because its interface is more powerful, but it's the same ;)
However, as I already told you aswering to you private message, "the problem is that if a software places its icons in "/usr/share/pixmaps", the problem is inside the software itself! The only thing an iconset can do is to draw such an icon, if the program isn't able to catch it, I cannot do much more.. This comes also a lot of other sw that places their icons in that folder; for example spotify and sonata!"
"For video-x-generic, can you please send me a screenshot?"
"For other icons for openbox: I know, you told me some days ago, and when I'll have time (I have a life too ;): the need to eat and to earn money for example; and this project doesn't give me the possibility to eat [I dislike eating icons ;) ]!!) I'll draw them. "
Finally, these sentences: "Also in Firefox, are all the buttons suppose to be grey, or should the Stop button be a different color, or any other ones be a different color too?
Also in a File Manager are all the buttons grey too? Because I had one time the New Tab button turn green for PCManFM-MOD but then it changed to grey."
Replied to this sentence: "So I was at a loss to understand the script since it doesn't seem to be needed."
The previous is a kind of behaviour that you can change using the customization script, so if some time ago you had green add button (and red close button, and also other coloured icons), but now you don't have any, it means that you ran the script and it successfully worked!

Please explain why icons need a script to be installed properly? Icons should only need to be places in the $HOME path of ~/.icons and then for Gnome users in their
appearance preferences they load the icons and the same idea for other desktops environments, using the preferences. For Window Managers you only need to also place them in ~/.icons and use either a .gtkrc-2.0 or a GUI preferences, if available for the particular window manager you use...
THANKS

All I see is that it's placing the icons in the path of ~./icons or /usr/share and then creating a .AwOkenrc file...
Is this all?
Does AwOken need to be placed in
~./icons and /usr/share/icons?
THANKS

The second is: if you want to know the reasons of the existence of a script, the only thing you have to do is seeing what it does, and then the answer will be obvious! So, what the script does: it changes folders, start-here, color-nocolor, some other icons. So, the purpose of the script is (magically) changing folders, start-here, color-nocolor, and some other icons!!! Moreover, it's written quite huge in the preview image and in the pdf file: "Simple customization script to change preference between.. etc etc".
I know what an icontheme needs to run; the reason for what there are iconset in two folders is that in /usr/share there is the original (and perfectly running) version, in .icons there is the customized one!
Third question: why did you pose that questions?
YOU'RE WELCOME
PS: "For Window Managers you only need to also place them in ~/.icons and use either a .gtkrc-2.0 or a GUI preferences, if available for the particular window manager you use..." <- I think you ment ~/.themes ;)

Sorry, I'm not very literate in this sort of thing, but that basically describes what happened. The text is so fast I can't even read it. I've tried every fix that has been posted in the comments and none of them work.
(Installed using the PPA on Linux Mint 9)

1. have you typed "y" when it asked this question: "Configuration process is finished. Notice that until now script has changed only main options. Do you want to run other options of the customize.sh file? (y/[n])"?
The command you're referring to in your message is this right? "Now I'll start the recovery script. Type any key to continue."
2. What were your choices? You can see them in the ".AwOkenrc" file located in your home!
3. icontheme is updated to the 1.6 version?
4. how you ran the script (literally say to me all the informations I can need to delineate the problem)?
5. Can you post me the script output before the keypressing that starts those fast outputs and the crash?
Cheers,
Alecive

This Iconset is best for dark themes. Do plan to make this one for ligther themes like "radiance"? I think about changing the color of the icons to a darker gray, so they will look better on lighter background. That would be nice.

Ran the configuration script, it edited some of the icons, but for some reason left the folder icons the Default.
Ive tried "Something went wrong? Choose this option!" and "Configure this set", neither fixed the folders.
Also, I am running Ubuntu 10.10.
Is there a fix?
