Splash image is included in the package. To use it, run:

gconftool-2 --set
/apps/gnome-session/options/splash_image -t str
"/usr/share/gdm/themes/Satanic/satanic-splash.png"

I like it. I used this and the matching splash screen and was able to scare the hell out of my new mother-in-law. She no longer asks when we're going to have kids.

P.S. Anyone who insults your work is pretty much an idiot. Thanks again for the mother-in-law thing.

HAHA!

I actually thought it was rather funny, first GDM/Graphics Design. It's not how much work went into it. it's weather or not it accomplishes the task it was designed for. in this case, to be funny.
