A wallpaper, fluxbox style, and conky configuration.

I realize this wallpaper might be of the "love it or hate it" variety so a note of explanation.

My inspiration was the aged color and patina bordering Leonardo Da Vinci's painting known as "La Scapagliata"(1508)...a young woman with mussed hair. The original plan was to use the border as inspiration but not her face. As I progressed I discovered I didn't mind her looking at my work. Her expression is calming and for being just shy of 500, she's holding up pretty well.

The transparency of fluxbox allows the "wood grain" to softly reflect through the window labels and adds a subtle patina.

Even if the wallpaper does not suit your personal tastes I'm sure you will enjoy and use the Oaken style.

The theme includes a conky config, the Oaken fluxbox style, and the Da Vinci wallpaper in 1024x768. Because of the amount of detail, other wallpaper sizes (1280x960, 1280x1024 and 1600x1200) must be downloaded separately.

Fluxbox is a stacking window manager for the X Window System, which started as a fork of Blackbox 0.61.1 in 2001, with the same aim to be lightweight. Its user interface has only a taskbar, a pop-up menu accessible by right-clicking on the desktop, and minimal support for graphical icons. Wikipedia
