This is a Star Trek like theme for amarokFS.

The images for the buttons are included in the file "images/iconset.svg" in inkscape svg-format.
You must have installed the font Federation to get it right.

but i'm having a little trouble getting amarok to install this theme- either from here manually or from Get Hot Stuff.

You don't have to install the theme. You must have amarokFS installed and then you just start it in the konsole or via a script from out of amarok.
Then you can right-click on the background for the settings and choose the path to the "theme.xml" file.
Then, it should work.

a request from you. I have always dreamed of having the original Star Trek "Computer voice of the Enterprise"
on my computer...If you could port that
as KDE system sounds it would be nerd heaven here on KDE look.
