This icon theme is a collection of the most beautiful FREE FOR USE icons on the net, configured to work perfectly on KDE. It includes a compilation of the efforts of icon artists around the globe. Thanks everyone at Kde-look, deviantart.com and Gnome-look.org, Oxygen Project, and everyone that I wish I could list individually.
I tried to make this theme as complete as I could, so it is a bit large (about 37 MB). Be pacient when you use the buildscript and install the icon theme with kcontrol.
There's also a light version available (about 20MB) without some icons that are not frequently used on KDE.
This is my first post. Hope you like it!

VERSION 1.1
Added some filesystems icons (folder icons and other) that were missing;
A light version of Breathless is available;
ATTENTION:
For those who installed version 1.0:
You may donwload Breathless_filesystems package, which contains only the icons that were missing (about 1.1MB).
Run Konsole and execute builset_filesystems.
This script converts the icons and copies them to
$HOME/.kde/share/icons/Breathless.
There's no need to build the whole theme.

i've tried it to install for kde4.3 on opensuse 11.1. in general it works well, because kde4 looks also in the old kde3-folders for icons ( i couldn't even find the kde4-folders).
but some icons could not be found, maybe because kde4 expect different names: e.g. all the icons for shutdown, standby etc use the same icon (can be found as systemtray.png and computer.png). so i don't know exactly which names are necessary for those icons. So I just could rename the icons i need for this purpose.
as i have read in the buildset-file i use version 1.1
thanks for any help in advance.

I'm doing everything as described in the read-me and everything goes smooth until it comes to tarring and compressing. At the end I don't get a complete archive to install, only 128, 32 and 48 icon folders.
Help me please as I really enjoy this iconset.

however when I import them into kmenu some get installed and set while many others don't. By going one by one I can actually change them and I see them available. Is it to be done one by one?
For instance what is strange is that the folders icons are still unchanged! Normally they are the first to be updated.

Congratulations and Thank you.
BTW, the buildset script rules! What a great idea! The whole thing about detecting the distro for the kmenu icon is easy, I'll PM you the changes I've done to your script. ;)

Would you mind adding Krusader, Iceweasel and some other Firefox icons?
Great work indeed. Thanks for it.
My gratitude also comes to all creators of original iconpacks.

THEN.. i copied the folders in 128x128 into the 16x16 folder, then copied the 16.x16 folder and renamed it 22x22, 32x32, 48x48 and 64x64.. then used mogrify -resize 22x22! *.png in each the directories to resize them appropriately. Took all of 10-15 min and now i have the full icon set in all sizes necessary.
If i knew how to package it properly.. i'd tar it up for everyone since the kde-look upload that i got it from only sates the 128x128 need and 16x16 actions.

Secondly can you do some changes:
- for the beryls icons put the shadow with transparancy
- add icons of MSWord like the pp.png icon
(That wold then permit to differentiate Word 2007 (with *.docx extention) from older version(*.doc)
- And finaly I don't know how to do it but that would be nice to have icons automaticly associated with the correct extention.
*.ppt with a specific icon
*.pps with a specific icon
*.doc with a specific icon
*.docx with a specific icon
*.odt with a specific icon
*.exe with a specific icon
That would be nice to have this done with all kind of icons included into your pack

Nice Suggestions!
I'll take a closer look to them and make them real (as possible) on next version.
If you all have any other suggestions, please post. Let's make this icon pack even more complete.
By the way, there's a way to choose your own mimetype icons for any mimetype file on KDE:
Open Konqueror:
Settings --> Configure Konqueror --> File Associations
You can even add or remove a mimetype there!!
That's one of many reasons I Love KDE, it is very very customizable!
Bye!!

A setup stuff or something else.
Due to the number of icons it's slow to do it one by one. ;-)
So perhaps a "script" or "assocition files" config file can be done to upgrade those initially on our computer.
